BUYING A HOME
Step 1
Your home can be purchased with cash or with a home loan. The very first step is talking to a trusted lender and getting pre-approved. Your lender will help work through what amount of money makes sense for you to spend on a home, and what you can realistically afford. I know several great ones I’d be happy to introduce you to!
STEP 2
Once you are pre-approved for a home loan, the fun begins.. time to start the search for your next home!
STEP 3
Once you are under-contract, I will serve as a liaison between you and the listing agent and seller, schedule your closing with a local attorney, schedule all of your desired inspections, and introduce you to my trusted team of insurance agents and specialists.
STEP 4
The timeline from under-contract to clearing-to-close takes a minimum of 30 days with a home loan and 7 days with cash. Once you have transferred money and signed all documents, the purchase is recorded with the registrar of deeds and the home is officially yours.
